From California to Aarhus
Caliaar is California and Aarhus in one word — sun-faded ease meets Scandinavian everyday wear. The brand is being built in Denmark, between Copenhagen and Aarhus.
We go looking for garments that have been overlooked: racks, bundles and back rooms full of clothes that still have plenty of life in them. The good ones get a second chance.
Some pieces are sold as they are — carefully selected vintage that just needs a new owner. Others need a little more: a repair, an alteration, or a proper rework into something that didn't exist before.
How we work
Three ways a garment makes it into Caliaar Vintage.
Curated vintage
Hand-picked second-hand pieces you can actually wear every day — checked, cleaned and honestly described. No filler, no bulk lots.
Repair & alteration
Loose seams, missing buttons, a hem that sits wrong. We fix what's worth fixing and take garments in or up so they fit like they should.
Upcycled pieces
A smaller run of reworked one-offs — garments cut, combined or re-sewn into something new. Occasional, not the whole story.
First drop
In progress
The first collection is being sourced and prepared right now — sorted, washed, measured, and mended where it's needed.
Expect a mix: everyday vintage you'll reach for constantly, a few distinctive one-off pieces, and selected repaired or altered garments. Mostly womenswear, with some unisex pieces.
